Arctica Lab is developing valuation and financing infrastructure for climate prevention.
The Lab is designing a model-agnostic platform that integrates outputs from project-specific scientific and engineering models with climate-risk, exposure, economic-loss, ownership, and financial data. By comparing baseline and intervention-adjusted scenarios, the platform would quantify how projects ranging from wetland restoration and landscape wildfire management to infrastructure upgrades and industrial transitions change expected losses, public and private costs, and, where applicable, greenhouse-gas emissions.
Arctica Lab also develops methods for mapping and capturing prevention value across beneficiaries. These methods are intended to translate defensible estimates of avoided losses, avoided costs, and emissions reductions into multi-party payment structures, optimized capital stacks, and investable cash flows.
